How to choose
Before you make a choice, neither the Google Ads tag nor embedded players are loaded. Privacy choices lets you reject all optional services, accept them, or select Google Ads, YouTube, Vimeo and Spotify individually. No optional box is preselected on your first visit. You can reopen the panel using the button always available at the bottom, change your choices and save them.
Blocked players also show a link to the platform: opening it means visiting an external service governed by its own rules. The contact form remains usable without allowing optional services.
Necessary storage
lukeripa-consent-v2: browser localStorage recording choices, date and notice version. Choices are valid for six months; the record is replaced when you make a new choice or removed when browser data are cleared. It is not sent to a central register.lukeripa-locale: localStorage remembering the language until it is changed or browser data are cleared.
These tools are necessary to remember the settings you request. If browser storage is unavailable, preferences may last only for the current visit. Choices may differ between devices and between addresses with and without www.
Google Ads: optional measurement
Provider: Google. Only with consent to measurement, the tag may receive connection, browser and page data and advertising identifiers, and link ad interactions to submitted enquiries. An event is generated after the SMTP server accepts the message, with a random identifier to prevent duplicates. Your name, email and enquiry text are not added; enhanced conversions and ad personalisation are not enabled in the website configuration.
Cookies in the _gcl_* family used by Google for measurement normally last 90 days. The cookies actually present also depend on ad interactions and browser settings. Google cookies · Data use on partner sites.
Players: separate consent for each provider
- YouTube / Google: video and playlist playback. Once allowed, the youtube-nocookie.com domain is used. This reduces tracking but does not make the player anonymous: Google receives connection and usage data and may process further data during playback. Google privacy.
- Vimeo: video playback. The player is requested with DNT enabled; security tools may still be necessary and the provider receives connection data. Vimeo privacy · Player cookies and retention periods.
- Spotify: podcast playback. The player may process IP addresses, device data, interactions and cookies according to the service settings. Spotify privacy · Spotify cookies and retention periods.
The platforms determine the names and lifetimes of their tools, which may vary with content, account sign-in and browser. The links above provide their updated information. Processing outside the EEA may be involved: see also the transfers section of the privacy notice.
Withdrawal and deletion
Turning off a player and saving removes its embed. Withdrawing Ads consent disables events, removes measurement cookies accessible to the website and reloads the page to stop the tag. The website cannot delete cookies already set on platform domains or data already received: use your browser settings and providers’ privacy tools. Clearing browser storage also removes your saved choice, so the panel may reappear.
